So, I wonder when the trends will be good for DFW again. May? Nope, that's summer.

GFS is looking much better temp-wise after Sunday.

Looks like 70s (seasonal) for much of the week.

Finger crossed this happens...

According to the WX radar there was a line of precip that moved through? But here in DT FTW it got dark, cool breeze, and a rumble or 2 of thunder but not a single drop of rain.

Is it me or are trends locking in I20 and south for tonight? That cell at the end of the run looks boss......

Could be risking a frost in McKinney Sunday morning. My garden in East TX got hit with 28F the morning of the 21st. Even covered I lost the tomatoes.

Got my Ambient rain collector working again, so it recorded .01 from the pity shower this morning.

Tonight does look potentially rough.

Is the front supposed to back up tonight or something? Because it's already approaching the I-35 corridor down here.

Yes, it's forecast to stall and possibly lift back north a bit.

The dryline will retreat back west/nw in the evening hours as moisture feeds back in from the gulf.

Not expecting much down here until we get the pacific frontal boundary involved Friday evening into Saturday morning.

Low chance of an isolated severe storm today and tomorrow along the dryline boundary. Like Monday though if one manages to break the cap it could go severe quickly.

It looks like cloud cover is limiting storm coverage/intensity across NE TX... for now. Severe weather still possible, but uncertain.

The EURO shows snow here this weekend along with the NAM. The GFS has also been hinting at this scenario. While it can snow here in April, I'm not naive enough to get my hopes up LOL. OUN did mention it in their forecast discussion today fwiw. Regardless of the outcome just seeing the models showing snow within 90 hours is cool though considering its April after all.

Lol I did some research about 1907 and apparently March was 4th warmest here and April was the coldest ever on record. Can you imagine that today?

I mean I don't expect it to be that big of a flip here or anything crazy but it is funny to see a pretty big cold snap after how warm it's been for weeks

Tulsa didn't completely rule out the snow though :spam:

Much cooler weather arrives this weekend, with rain possibly
mixing with snow Sunday morning

Welp, can already see this current round's also looking like a nothingburger for most of DFW (exception being areas along/north of Highway 380).

Did get a torrential downpour, but not even any thunder...

Hopefully a delayed but not denied situation but man this joke isn't funny anymore. Bust city so far. I do have some severe sprinkles though.
