The most recent weird replacement was replacing Milton with Miguel, mainly because Miguel is the Spanish translation of the name Milton replaced, which is Michael. I would have replaced Milton with something like Malachi, Malcolm, Monty, or Massimo instead of Miguel.

Shocked nobody has posted this here, but they finally decided on a replacement name for Cyclone Freddy, and out of all of the names they could have picked (names like Flynn, Fritz or Fabio) they went with Frederic for some season.
