What's your favorite...

What's your favorite game show of all time?

For me it has to be Wheel of Fortune. I watched this show as a child for years with my Grandma. I still watch it several times a week. Not only do I watch it, but Dustin does too! He loves the wheel and the glittering lights and the sounds. It's the only show Dustin pays any attention too. Now this show is something I could see myself trying out for!

Match Game PM was always funny to me, although not very intellectual. What's My Line?, To Tell The Truth, and Liar's Club were interesting studies of behavior and body language. I loved Win, Lose, Or Draw when Vicki Lawrence was on. I'm not sure if Battle Of The Network Stars counted as a game show, but I loved watching some of my faves run around in physical challenges. Survivor used to be one of my recent favorites although only the first couple of seasons really held my interest.

But my all-time faves would have to be Let's Make A Deal, The Gong Show, Name The Tune, and the Newlywed Game.

Am I showing my age.

I like Let's Make A Deal. Simple, fun, never required burning up the brain cells.

"The Running Man"...they should do that "for real" with death-sentance prisoners. Imagine John Allen Muhammad trying to outrun some cat with a flame-thrower...serves him right. :grrr:

Top 3 all-time game shows for me:

1) Let's Make A Deal
2) Press Your Luck
3) Match Game

All of these are very funny and are not overly taxing to the brain. My kind of shows! 8-)

Hugh Downs and "Concentration" or else perhaps "Beat the Clock."

You young'ens would surely not know much about either of those...at least the early versions.
