My bet is Five. Nothing very explosive like 2024 or 2020 but 5 (S)TS and 2 Hs is my bet. A C4-C5 also can happen :grrr:

in said 6 plus due to the untapped SST’S in the Caribbean as well as and the Atlantic still being warm as well as Gulf of Mexico. The big question in my opinion is how many of those storms might make landfall as the US has not been hit yet this year. Cold fronts all ready making an appearance and pulling storms towards Florida and the Gulf Coast.

2 or 3, maybe, not a lot, honestly. I think the hostile conditions in the MDR through the GOM will continue, which is a good thing. :sun:

My guess: 4 NS (all hurricanes), despite quiet start, based on more active Euro Weeklies later in month, weak La Niña climo, and recent above normal activity late
