Re: Texas Fall 2025
Summer is over as far as dewpoints if GFS is right, 60s and even some 50s. We do get to the 70s for the GFS fantasy range hurricane that follows an improbable path to get near Cameron, Louisiana.

It pains me to say it, but we might not be done with the 100s yet. But I guess we can't complain too much since our summer wasn't too bad this year.

Supposed to be in the lower 90s today, hottest in 3 weeks
Don't say that often coming out of August

Re: Texas Fall 2025
I had a feeling summer wasn't over
What was amazing to me was how many Septembers I looked at and they all had a heat wave at some point
But I mean we've been so lucky this summer... Heck even this year.... And time is ticking

If you're a meteorologists in central Texas you could be taking 2 weeks off and nobody would notice.
We're going to have very little variation; clear to partly cloudy, 95-71, no rain, for that period. Kind of concerning since September is one of the wetter months.

Re: Texas Fall 2025
Maybe it's just me but it's not hitting like it was in the first half of August so far. Plus the days are rapidly getting shorter now
You know it's gonna be over soon. I still think it's been about the most amazing summer we can have here
