How strong will Humberto get?
With Humberto poised to explode, how strong do you think it will get? If a mod could turn this into a poll, that would be great.

Re: How strong will Humberto get?
I'm thinking in the 135 - 140 kt range. I'm gonna go with 135 kt and thus a high-end cat 4, simply because there are many small things that can still 'go wrong' to prevent a cat 5 peak. But I do think a cat 5 is possible.

Re: How strong will Humberto get?
Im thinking about 135-145 kts for Humberto. Every hurricane this season to date has overperformed to some extent.

I decided to go with 140 kts for my vote yesterday morning, and I feel like it’s a 50/50 shot right now for Humberto to reach it.

As long as Humberto doesn't affect populated areas, this is one time where I'm completely okay with being wrong
. An absolute monster.
