40, of which 38 were WPac typhoons, 1 cyclone in Australia and hurricane Irma.

To date, I have penetrated exactly 60 hurricane eyes around the world-- the last one being Typhoon RAGASA in China last week. This includes hurricanes across North America, typhoons in East Asia, and a hurricane-strength cyclone in Australia.

(And I have penetrated 82 eyewalls.)

Very impressive!! Any particular favorite chase? There's NO-WAY I'd consider chasing a hurricane over in East Asia or Australia. If there's no 7-Eleven's over there, then there's no Slim Jim's.

Anyway, never let your guard down. Safety is paramount and that's a lot of penetration. One err in judgements can prove fetal.
