First and foremost, I am eternally thankful of our Great Lord for healing Dustin's heart. Dustin is everything to me and I am so thankful to have him. I am also thankful for my family members and friends. I am so thankful for His guidance throughout the course of my life. Between my family, my friends, and our Great Lord, I am truly blessed. Thank you.

Replies from the heart. Indeed where else can any of us feel secure enough to reveal ourselves except here at Storm2k?
'Tis my turn to list a few...
I am thankful that I have come to learn to really REALLY see and appreciate so many good things around me. The sky and more.
My family, of course, for their guidance and support....knowing that their "take" on Poppysky includes an understanding of his strengths and a very real awareness of his flaws (even those masked from those here at Storm2k).
For my co-workers and staff members who have become as extended family...learning to respect others around them, the people we serve, and themselves in ways that help them grow as people and in their careers. I love watching them grow and flourish in the non-threatening environment we try to sustain. Apparently they do too...as I am thankful for a stable workforce that smiles a lot, pushes their limits, hangs their head when they should, and control their own professional future through the work ethic they pursue.
Not just for the paths that God opens up before me, but for offering me the ability to use those roads in positive and comforting ways. That my heart drives many decisions...yet I am so often humbled by my own frailty and weakness. Humility serves such a useful purpose to me. It calms my anger. It stills my frustration. It forces me to lean on Him when I'm reduced to a whimper.
For the warmth that eminates from the pot belly stove right here at Storm2k...and how it wraps itself around one or the other or another or another of us from time to time. Sometimes in stillness and quiet. Sometimes in shared belly-laughs that jump from state to state in a matter of minutes. But always, always as real as if it were right here in this room where I type tonight.
My real daily world is full of a cast of characters from cartoons to buffoons...from those I admire to those I admonish. From those who spend their time giving...to those who practice nothing but the bitterness of taking.
I'm thankful that my little Gateway PFD1520 monitor allows me to share all of this with a group of people I respectfully refer to as my "weather" friends.
For just as all of those around me in person contribute to the value in my life, so too do those of you here.
Finally, it is impossible to list my things to be thankful for without hearing the tiny voice of my granddaughter Emma standing at the end of the hall and asking for me. "Papa. Papa."
I am blessed this Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for Jesus....that He died so that I may live, that He is always with me, that He loves me unconditionally, that He is willing to teach me His ways...
I am thankful, so very thankful for my husband. We've come a long way, learned, laughed, loved, fought and weathered some very difficult seas.Nearly seventeen years later he is still able to make me laugh, to make me feel like I am the most beautiful woman on the face of the earth.
My children, how blessed am I to have three.I am thankful that they don't hold against me the mistakes I made while raising them.Children are so very forgiving, like Jesus they love unconditionally.
I am thankful for my dear weather friends.Four years ago this spring I first met some of them, hard to believe that so much time has passed and yet...here we still are.Later on down the road some more dear weather friends came into my life....here we still are.Such comfort in that, such encouragement, support and love..who would believe that the dearest folks in my life are those whom I have never met in person.
I am thankful that they now make carrots already peeled and in a bag...
I am thankful that I got to be with my Gram when she died...and for Karan's afghan that I cloaked around me during the last winter of her life....Yahtzee
I am thankful for all my blessings, friends, family, freedom...the list could go on for miles.....your right Mary..if we were sitting down to dinner after posting the turkey would get cold!
God Bless us all!!!
