Talk about being blessed with a great day for Thanksgiving. Can’t get much better out there. Upper 60’s here with a very light wind and clear blue skies with a DP of 28°. Love it!!

Had our thanksgiving 10 days ago. I’m not saying I’m going all in but I’m buying a cord of wood as soon as we land manana. Always have wood available. Always.

Yeah this has really been an amazing Thanksgiving for weather

And I feel pretty optimistic we'll have our winter in time. It was just too early for this storm coming up

Especially if the mjo is right

I mean we still might get something Monday up here but clearly it's gonna be limited by the fact it's not even winter yet. Heck I haven't seen accumulating snow here before December 22nd since I moved in 21(and that was barely a half inch pretty much). Everything legit has been in January and February

Which Oklahoma TV met perchance?

Mike Collier, it was on his FB page.

He's a bit dramatic since he left TV here in Tulsa but well see lol. Everything is the worst with him. Gotta keep up those likes I guess. He created his own weather app... Like we need another one of those  I pretty much consider him our version of Mike Morgan now

After how warm it's been though I guess nothing would surprise me. Tulsa was still tied for hottest November on record before the cold front yesterday

But I don't see anything that warm from anyone else so far

Today will really kncok down the monthly average, but it should still up being a top 5 (if not top 3) warmest November on record for DFW.

In addition, on the heels of 2024 which was the 3rd warmest Autumn on record for DFW, 2025 be on track for a top 5 or top 3 warmest Autumn as well.

Officially at DFW, November 2025 will tie for the 4th warmest on record while the 2025 Fall will tie for the 2nd warmest on record.
