All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.
Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.
Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information
Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

My expected low was 36F and ended up at 39. Cloud cover probably kept it from falling.

Like I said in the other post I fully expect at some point there will be a southeast ridge. It never fails over there. I have friends over there who can't even talk about 2021 because it was so horrible to watch and then got missed to the south in January. They still haven't beaten us since
Now the question is when is that

Made it down to 29F this morning in Longview. There was black ice in a few areas (especially bridges) from residual moisture from yesterday's rain and some overnight mist. That led to a few accidents and even a brief road closure in town.
I'm just glad we're getting some cold weather to fight off the mosquitos. We've been getting good moisture.

Starting to see some signals for some Artic air shifting further west (more our way) in about another two weeks or so.

Lol Euro has widespread -30’- -45 readings in central canada at the end of its run, that is a huge cold pool of arctic air building

I just saw something with a light and a faint Cloud around it and then look like it somewhat exploded with like an outgassing on the western Horizon about 60° up.
Not sure what it was, anybody know anything?
It happened about 15 minutes ago.

That sounds like a SpaceX launch. Did it look something like this?

No it was nowhere near that size, but it was noticeable, of course angle matters I guess. It looked like an airplane head light, then it had a cloud around it, then a cone smoke trail and it was gone.
Had I not been driving I would have filmed it.
It was so interesting.
