Talk about an I-10 nightmare. Fort Stockton to Orange and even further east than that.

At least I-35 NEX is still under construction.

Hopefully there’s more cold to get rid of that warm nose. Snow is always better that sleet or freezing rain.

Not just on board, it has nearly a blizzard in some areas followed by single digits.

That post on ridging up in NW Canada is fascinating. Now we need to analyze that Wednesday I guess.

Let's just hope the thickness will support sleet and we don't have to worry about powerlines

Ridiculous cold on the CMC/ GFS, we get that much sleet/ ice and or snow on the ground and i suspect we will stay much colder and much longer than what the models have, this is trending toward a significant statewide event

Yeah let's keep in mind this is the CMC we're talking about so call me skeptical on that one. I do think depending on how much snow/sleet falls that may impact some of that but CMC is notorious for holding on to cold too long and obviously has a bias for going extreme at this range.

txtwister78 yeah it might be a little too cold lol, but honestly if we end up with ice totals like what the GFS/ CMC spit it, its going to be a very slow thaw out, probably looking at 48-72 around or below freezing, but your right as it depends pn how much falls

Yes, but you have to look at more than just the operational runs, these operational runs wouldn’t mean a whole lot if ensemble support wasn’t their, but their is very good ensemble support that this is going to happen

22 degrees and enough snow to play with my kids will do me fine, we do not need another 2021 style outbreak and power apocalypse like some of you are rooting for. (Not to mention we’ve added god knows how many AI data centers and crypto miners to the grid since then so it might be even worse).
