Got to work at 730 and it was 46. It’s currently 37. Seems to be dropping pretty decently.

Radar filling in slowly. Getting a decent shower currently. Let the cold air drain.

I'm at work today until probably about 5:00. I'm following what I can but I'll post more this weekend, so I'm a little bit tied up for now.
You can feel a definite chill in the air. I'm having to walk across the UNT Campus to take care of a few things before we head out.

Don't hold me accountable for anything I post on this forum. Leave the real forecasting up to the professionals.

That puts Sherman as the leading edge of the front in Texas. It's also in the Panhandle but slightly further north.

Food and beer trip to Mexico City cancelled with my buddy from New Hampshire. The flights and the timing with the upcoming weather were too much to work around. Looking at mid-March now. Now I can concentrate on local matters and S2K for my weather needs.

Freezing line from Frederick to Lubbock, moving south. The cold pool in West Texas is diving down as a wave of low pressure takes shape in far SW Texas. This will sharpen the front over time. Things are in motion now.

It's time like this that I like being in northwest Tarrant County, not that it always does me good. We got missed to the south in 2021 and last year still didn't transition to snow from sleet basically until maybe the very end. Lol.

Be safe and stay warm everyone! Hope we make it through this storm with as few power outages as possible, and fwiw now the 12z Euro is on board with another winter storm next weekend, absolutely insane to see all major models agree on that for next weekend

For DFW, front seems to be past Bowie and approaching Decatur.
