Re: Texas Winter 2025-2026
Just watched an updated TX Storm Chasers video, and the HRRR does show maybe 4 hours at the end Sunday morning where it looks to be snow across at least much of the metro. Fingers crossed....if it's heavy enough, it could add something decent.

TV met just posted in OKC that there's no sleet and it's gonna be an absolutely incredible snowstorm
Seems like it's definitely overperforming

I don’t know about y'all, but I am the weather forecaster for me and my wife’s big families. Right now I’m about at the point where I tell people I’m in a Peruvian prison.

Anyone have the website for the balloon soundings from FWD? I thought I bookmarked it last year but I can’t seem to find it. More curious to look at it tomorrow morning than what it showed earlier this evening.

Strange you would think Wichita Falls would be based on radar.

Wind has shifted more NW now, so that will hopefully mean more falling temps. I am just now at freezing, which is about 3.5 hours early.

I believe some of these smaller towns have automated weather stations that can't tell the difference between sleet and snow. And I could be wrong.

Here is the higher level website that’s easier to find and can lookup more locations
