'03-'04...The winter that WASN'T???
We went to the *higher* country yesterday, 10,600' to cut our Christmas tree yesterday, all I wore was a sweatshirt, that was enough!! NO SNOW what so ever, well, a *sprinkle* in the shade...but that's IT! I've never been able to get to the high country for a tree this time of year due to snow.....is this gonna be the "Winter that WASN'T" for us??? We cannot survive ANOTHER year without snowpack, we are entering into our 7th year of what's classified as an "Exceptional Drought!" I took a look at the NAFD on NWS FLAG just second ago, we have a STRONG ridge of high pressure setting up with forecast temps going to 20° ABOVE normal for the extended forecast period, this is getting DOWN RIGHT depressing!!!

Dennis, I hope you get moisture soon. I know how rough it has been there the last several years.

Brrr! It was CHILLY by Az standards yesterday, a CHILLY 70° at the house (can you detect a *hint* of sarcasim here"LOL!") I mean, "70°" FLIPPIN degrees on the 1st of Dec??? AND.....no snow on the horizon.......the drought, without a doubt, is worsening with every passing day, we're at the EXCEPTIONAL level now......
