The official: GET ME DOWN THREAD!!!

#1 Postby Colin » Sun Nov 30, 2003 10:43 pm

I have this little problem, whenever people are talking about a snowstorm, I get overly excited, then nothing happens. So please, post whatever is going wrong for this storm to affect me here!

Read Larry Cosgrove's newsletter this morning. He thinks the mid-Atlantic will get some rain this weekend, but no big deal and definitely no snow. I actually tend to agree with him, since I don't believe the setup is correct for an east coast snowstorm. There MAY be some elevation snow in NC, VA and WV.

I disagree... it most likely will be cold enough for snow north and west of the I-95 Corridor...and I doubt it'll only be "some" precipitation. I guess he should look at the models.

Don't loose hope Colin...........

Things are developing and it is looking better every day.

That cold air mass may just cover the whole state and with the precip that will be in our region at that time should produce a decent snow event............

How much......too early to say yet but looks promissing
