Well, I broke down and bought the scales over the weekend. My weigh in yesterday was 286.5 lbs. That means I have lost 33.5 lbs. since I first started the SBD about 2 months ago!! Still got a long ways to go, but I AM THRILLED!!!! And surprisingly I don't miss all the starches and carbs that much. One good thing about SBD is in the second and third phases the carbs are slowly reintroduced.

Now if I can just stop hurting enough from my arthritis to start using that clothes hanger-er, I mean treadmill I might really accomplish something.

I am not about to deny myself a good holiday dinner, but intend to be smart about my portions!!!

My final goal is 210-225 range and hopefully the lower, but I would be happy with the 225. At least then I would be able to retire my old avatar for good!!

I saw this sign in a gift shop yesterday -- in reference to Thanksgiving day.

EAT, DRINK, AND BE MERRY FOR TOMORROW WE DIET

I had a lot of errands to do and really judged what I ate while I was out. I lost 4 pounds from all the anxiety I went through because one man I was supposed to meet never showed up. I can think of better ways to lose 4 pounds, but I'll take it for now.

Well, this is my first visit to this thread and I think it is awesome!! I have about 30 lbs to lose. I joined "Curves" back in July and lost 11 inches the first month. The probelm is that the past few months have been heck on my time management skills and now I am ready to get back into it!! 30 minutes a day 3 times a week, I try to go more but time is not a luxury I have a lot of. The machine are all hydraulic and they are formed in a circle. spend 30 seconds on each machine and then go to a walking mode to keep your heart rate up for 30 seconds. You go around the circle 3 times and your done. I love it because it is fast and it works. A great way to lose inches and tone up. My goal for December is to go 4 times a week and get measured again. I will keep you posted! Thanks for the thread!!

One other thing, I also lost a full % of body fat the first month!! It is still to high but hopefully it will continue to go down!!

Well I will be the first to say that I did really good today - got up and walked my one mile on the threadmill. Only ate what I could eat - stopped when I was full... but I did have one downfall - I ate two pieces of apple pie. I had to bake 5 pies - but the apple was the most appealing so I ate two slices yikes.... If I can get the energy - I'm gonna go and try walking it off..

Hope everyone had a great turkey day and remember tomorrow is another day.....

Well, how's this...I wake up to an empty house!!! And no Thanksgiving dinner!! Don't look like I'll be having trouble with that!! It's weird, this is the first Thanksgiving that I won't be eating a meal with at least some family, I'm home alone, I know my mom is working, but everyone else I don't have a clue!!

I didn't gain or lose, so I guess I came out OK. Now, I started walking around the loop in my driveway (1/4 mile) several times a day, but it is so darn cold. I guess this will determine how much or little will power I really have. :S

I am back on the Lean Cuisines and Ephedra Free Stacker 2's. I gain weight by just looking at food.
