Winter question

#1 Postby Lowpressure » Mon Dec 01, 2003 8:37 pm

We are living in Fredericksburg for our first winter. So far we seem to run 4-5 degrees colder than DCA for radiational cold, a little closer when CAA is the factor. My question is- our location being cooler and further from water, what storm trajectory would be ideal for snow near the I-95 corridor? Or, whatever DCA gets is what we should expect?

I would think close to the same storm track which gave DCA good snows...going south and turning up the coast...or something that redevelops off the coast. I'm not quite sure...WEATHER53 could probably give you some good details. :)

A Low about 20 miles offshore would give your area ample snow!!
