Nyc and north getting snow?????

#1 Postby James5o4 » Tue Dec 02, 2003 12:50 am

i hear that the new gfs model is showing the freezing line below nyc....does this mean that areas nyc and north can get some snow or all snow out of this system? Also, one of the meteorologist from the weather channel said that areas from nyc north can get pretty interesting b/c the models are showing a possibility of rain during the day near the coast, to snow, and heavy snow during the night.....how reliable is that gfs model right now? thanks...

Things are looking on track.

Still too early to be sure but conditions are developing and looks promissing for some type of snow event for the Northeast.
