In the article, Stolley wrote:The FBI said that components of IEDs can be smuggled onto planes concealed in clothing or personal carry-on items like shampoo and medicine bottles, and then put together onboard.

Sheesh! Pretty soon, we're not going to be able to take ANYTHING with us on the plane or if we can, we'll have to wait through cantankerously long search lines. :o

Additionally, she wrote:"In many cases of suspicious passenger activity incidents have taken place in the aircraft's forward lavatory," the FBI noted. "It is conceivable terrorists may plan to use this private area to construct IED(s) in order to facilitate access to the cockpit, or position themselves in front of the passengers.''

Wasn't there some Steven Seagal or Jean Claude VanDamme (I get those two mixed up) movie where a trio of terrorists snuck components of a homemade gun on board? I don't remember all of it, but I remember an Asian female in the bunch. She went to the lavatory, pulled out a curling iron from her backpack, and then opened the end and the barrel of the pistol was inside. She then took all the other parts that her two accomplices had hidden in the lavatory earlier and put them together to form her gun.

I would be more worried about MANPADS then another hijack situation.

Answered my own question when I went to IMDB.com. I believe the movie was "Executive Decision." I like action films and, IMO, Seagal's better than Van Damme, although nowhere near as great as Harrison Ford or Bruce Willis...and maybe Stallone.
