If that obtained, peeps would be BURIED under four feet of snow, and the winds would pile up 30 foot drifts

Agreed about ratios. This is the most prodigious model output I've seen yet for upstate eastern NY and New England. Given that our temps will be in the low 20s in the day and 10s at night during the event, ratios of 15:1 are likely. IF this were to occur, the 9-16" forecast for this area would be quite low. Not jumping on this bandwagon, but it would be nice.

While I agree it would be fun for you guys if that verified, however, if it did verify, watch out next week, you'll need a boat to get around and that may be no exageration.

end time of the storm will play a huge role. The ETA ends the precip in my area by about 7pm tomorrow night. GFS keeps precip for an additional 12 hours and gives QPF of 1.75-2.00" in my area. I've never really paid attention to how models handle the second half of storms, I'm usually more concerned about arrival of the storm. So I really don't know what to expect. ETA says 10-15" easily for my area...while GFS would suggest upwards of 2 feet.
