My Odette prediction yesterday...

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sat Dec 06, 2003 9:44 am

My Odette prediction yesterday about it becoming a hurricane is most likely not correct. I have to say my guess was closer than the NHC which took Odette up to 50 mph and had her hit hispaniola. 65 mph suprised me, but I still think that even though the window of opportunity is closing fast, it has a slight chance to get to around 70 mph to 80 mph before landfall. I think 70 mph but a minimal hurricane is not out of the question. In any case, Puerto Rico, hispaniola, BE SAFE! These rains will come fast and heavy and we all remember what Hortense, Georges, and Mitch did.
Stay safe.
