Tropical Cyclone Jana heads towards the Cocos Islands...

South Indian Ocean. According to the JTWC winds should be gusting to about 130 knots when it reaches the islands...

Lets see what happens in the next couple of days!

Also there is Tropical Cyclone Celia which is poised to make landfall on Madagascar. It then is forecasted to reach the Mozambique Channel in the next couple of days.

So as the Atlantic Season has come to a close the Hurricane season in the Southern Hemisphere is geting underway with a bang!

Ummm let's see what happens with Jana if those islands are hitted or not.

Looks like it may go just west of those islands Luis. The earlier map made it look like a direct hit there.
