Nothing in the caribbean that will form a tropical cyclone

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Nothing in the caribbean that will form a tropical cyclone

#1 Postby cycloneye » Wed Dec 10, 2003 7:00 pm

What is there primary is an anticyclone near Panama and a surface trough in the area. The divergent flow in the area is forming the convection that is not concentrated but in a line from north to south and there is NO low pressure in the area.I know that as soon there is a blob after the events of the past 2 weeks people open their eyes rapidly but in this case nothing is there for a tropical cyclone to form.

The discussion came out but no low pressure is mentioned as I stated in my post above.

No more tropical activity will form during the rest of this month as that area in the caribbean wont do anything as it is related to a surface trough so let's now see when Alex the first in the list for 2004 will form if it forms after june 1 or it forms before as Ana did.
