i was wondering what track a storm has to take to put me in the bulls-eye
here in central,pa...i get some good snows here but im never in the
bulls-eye.it always seems to be about 75-100 miles east or 50-75 miles south..is there any real reason for this or is it just luck of the draw..
question?

I know that I miss plenty of severe weather being down in a valley right on the Mississippi River...does snow tend to follow that as well? May be a weird question to anwser saying as I worded it oddly, but if I drive up the hill and a few miles north into the open plains, the weather can explode, and I can only imagine the snow patterns do the same, but maybe I am wrong, still only learning here!

i was just curious as to why im always on the lower end of the totals(compared to the areas around me)
thanks for the reply
Hey some of us can attest to that for sure. Try living on the eastern side of the state and have to worry about the rain/snow line because of the ocean. now does that sound scary none the less that easterly fetch catches on and forget it its a mixed bag if not all rain. There shows ya how lucky you are compaired to here. The Major cities here on the East side of the Apps usually get jipped because of mixing and or complete change over to all rain. Trust me i have had way to many shares of heartaches with the rain/snow line to know all to well not to hold high hopes. I hope so hard to get 90% of them smashed. So dont worry your in a 75% better location then over here on the East Sid eof the State.
