From december 17th the movie will be shown in more than 3,500 theaters around the US ,Puerto Rico,the Virgin Islands and in many parts of the world and in fact in parts of Europe it is running now.Who here are diehard fans of this saga? Will you see this movie? I will do so next week.

I already have my tickets for the 12:01 AM showing on the 17th! :-) I'm taking the day off from work so I might just see it 2 or 3 times :-)

I've been a fan of The Fellowship of the Ring since I first read the books 30 years ago. :-) I still try and re-read the books every couple of years...

I always wait for the DVD. I loved the first one but have not seen 2 towers yet. I have watched some of the DVD features though. As I understand it there are multipe endings shown in the theater.

first showing here is at 12:01am tonight.....It will be cold with lows in the mid to upper 20's, I'm sure there will be a line out the door

I watched the first one with my daughter the other night and she absolutely loved it. Now she wants to see the second one so that we can go and see the third one. I, too enjoy them and loved the books. Starting with the Hobbit and through the lord of the rings series.

There is talk that Peter Jackson may make The Hobbit after his next project. They are in the negotiating stage but I have hopes that they willl get things worked out. Keep your fingers crossed :-)
