70 degrees in my area in December is a ridiculous heatwave. But it happened a number of days in 2001. That was one of the all-time worst winter in my area.

LOL A ridiculous heatwave. We even probably have hit 80 at least once in December I think lol or come pretty close

I just can't get into the Holiday mood when it's 60 or higher, I need cold, grey days with the fireplace going and hot coco to drink. :)

Im just waiting on our first snowfall of the 2003 season. Anyone have any idea of when that will be for Northern Fla? :wink:

Guess I'll have to take what I can get---was kinda hoping to see an event like December 89 when there were winter storm warnings for 1-3 inches of snow down here... oh-well

I'm hoping for some snow around new years eve because that seems to be our best chance. New years eve 00-01 we had around a half inch of snow that mostly accumulated on cars and roofs and the next year on 1/1/02 we had about 2 inches accumulate although I wasn't here to witness it :(. Pretty amazing to not see snow down here for years and then have it on the same day 2 years in a row.

8-) SHHHHHHHHHHH. More snowbirds will come down. I agree with Captin.Holidays and cold weather with snow and a fireplace go hand in hand. I miss the snow living in Pa. and from the looks of it, this winter will be as good or better then last year. Have a White Christmas everyone.
