Hey guys.. I know the main story is Saddam, but as I was watching Saddam's thingy.. a little crawl came across the bottom of my screen.

At least 1 person has been killed in a crash between a pickup truck and a diesel fuel tanker.

A fuel spill has occured as a result of the accident, and part of the Florida Turnpike in Lake County is closed.

The turnpike was shut down for almost an entire day in Lake County during mid week last week when a car slammed into a Fed Ex truck carrying explosives.

Sounds bad like several heavily-traveled arteries in my native Cincy and also I-95 in NC which has been said now as being the deadliest route in my state.

We have a couple of "death trap" type roads here..

We have a death trap road here in Topeka... it's called "Wanamaker". You have the mall, Best Buy, Wal*Mart, alot of food shops, everything you could think of on this street. It's a mess!

A lot of our death traps are 2 lanes in the rural areas. We have a lot of 2 lane roads on our way out to the coast cause we have spots where there is nothing but trees on both sides of the roads for miles.

LOL WX.. It gets so secluded out there.. even lonely.. Once you get past St. Cloud, you're in trouble cause there is barely any businesses till you get to the coast lol

Actually SW Missouri is becoming very commercialized with Branson, Springfield, the Lakes, etc. the area has been booming despite the bad economic times other areas of the state and nation have felt.

The location of this accident apparently was a bit futher west(-northwest) of the one that involved the car with a Fex Ex truck carrying explosives. Last week's was on the Orange/Lake county line, heading northwestward.
