Favor courts to decide Saddams fate or rapid death to him

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Dec 15, 2003 1:34 pm

I favor the Iraqies themselves to make justice to Saddam in public where all the population there can see the moment when he is hanged in the same plaza where that statue fell in april because if he is judged in courts whereever that may be it will take months even years to decide what to do with him and the less time he lives the better.

I would like to see the Iraqi people finally have their day as far as he is concerned. He has killed men, women and children. Tortured and killed men in front of their families. Tortured children in front of their Fathers to get the Father to do what he wanted them to do. Gased thousands of Kurds and buried them in shallow graves. He has done this to the Iraqi citizens for too long. Their blood is on his hands. This is their day!!

I would rather see him tried by the Iraquis. Then there will be a semblance of closure for them. IT would be nice to see him strung High it the middle of Baghdad, but there will always be that accusation that we just got rid of him for the oil. If they do it, then there won't be any room for rumors.

The Iraqi's need to decide his fate. There's not much doubt as to the end result only the date of the execution... :-)

I agree. However, there are some Iraqi's that aren't against Saddam for some odd reason.

If he were to go through another "system," why wouldn't he be convicted?

All you need do is look at the World Court in the Hague, Netherlands...they are STILL trying Slobodan Milosonofabitch, and at the same time he's on the BALLOT in his home country.

IMHO, let the Iraqis deal with him...they suffered more than anyone. THEN, have Kuwait, Iran, Israel, etc. try him "in absentia" after the Iraq War Crimes Tribunal gets it done.

No "outside interference" on THIS case!

He should get a first-class trial then a first-class hanging!

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Opinions my own.
