Exactly ... the EURO is missing the undercutting SBJ, but the run appears mighty warm ... actually the building high behind the disturbance looks like it comes from the GOM itself ... GRRR!!!!

Nice site SF. I'm an old metal head from the 80's. Good to see the "long hairs" are still alive and kicking.

Excellent...good to see that there are a few of us still around..

Too bad we're a dying breed. Corporate America caused my demise several years ago. Still cranking the old poop, I'm also a diehard DT fan.

Old .. new ... all good for me, as long as it has a kick ass, hard driving, in your face, brand of metal ... I'm fair game to have it in my CD player ...

I don't think your board cares for me much. It still won't let me login under my original account. I enter the login info and click submit and it just returns me to the index page without logging in. It does however add my name to the online users list. I've used phpbb on a few sites I've built and have never seen this type of problem. Still didn't work even after flushing out cookies.

This login account is working nicely, at the moment.

That's odd ... you're the first one that I've heard have this kind of problem ...

The problem with 80's metal is rather simple. Poorly structured and cliche songs crossed with banal, immature lyrics just does not equal good music. "I'm tnt"? wtf?
It's all crap...sorry. Writing 80's style metal doesn't take talent, it takes a bum who gets lucky. Check out people like PJ Harvey, Pink Floyd, Leonard Cohen..."Cat scratch fever" is just pathetic. That music makes me cringe.

BTW, I'm not referring to Tool, King Crimson or Led Zeppelin. I'm referring to Ted Nugent, AC/DC, Megadeth, Mottley Crue, etc.

AC/DC -- I'll give you that one ... very basic ... MÖtley Crüe .. yeah, basic ... Tool rules, most complicated arrangements on the planet, musically ... Megadeth? -- ever seen the arrangements of the music or EVER tried to play that? Simple isn't the word for Megadeth's music at all... MUCH harder to play than Metallica's songs (I know, I mastered the Metallica songs in my hey-day, and should have never given up playing ... *bangs head*) ...

Anyways, I was more into Megadeth, Slayer, Venom (well, sorta), Metallica, and a lot of thrash/speed metal bands in the 80's ... absolutely HATED the hair bands (glam)...

Oh, ok. Then I agree...I figured you were referring to glam metal, lol.
