I am in need of ideas for my websites' Top 10 stories of the year.. I have a good list of stories but can't figure out how to number them or order them.
Here's my list if you're interested
Laci Peterson's murder
Elizabeth Smart's return
Jessica Lynch
The Blackout of 2003
The War in Iraq
Saddam Hussein's capture
Terry Schiavo's case {the woman in Tampa being kept alive by a tube}
The California recall mess
The DC sniper shootings
Kobe Bryant's rape investigation
The Columbia shuttle disaster
Longer than average hurricane season
The deaths of John Ritter and Mr. Rogers as well as Bob Hope {plan on putting those in a seperate spot anyhow}
The SARS outbreak
The Mill Creek Mall murders {The MCM is a mall right down the block from where I live and back in April I believe, a couple was murdered there.. so only locals know that 1}
The nightclub bombing in Bali
The nightclub fires in Illinois and Rhode Island
Central Florida sees snow on January 24th
Central Florida remembers February 22nd-23rd 1998 {the night of the deadly tornado outbreak}
If you can find a way to pick 10 of those and order them 10-1. Or if you have another story I haven't included that you think deserves credit, then feel free to use this thread to let me know
In Need of Ideas..

You could add Rod Roddy (the Price is Right guy) to In Memoriam as well ... if I think of anyone else I'll let you know.
I also agree with the CA wildfires addition. Not just because I am from southern CA (which I admit plays a part); but also because it had such a huge impact on such a huge area of the nation (the smoke and ash went as far as the Northeast I believe!! :o ).
