NO WHITE CHRISTMAS FOR MOST OF USA..............

#1 Postby Lehigh » Mon Dec 22, 2003 5:22 am

Most of the country will see no snow on Christmas day.

Only a few may see some lite snow activity but nothing to talk about.

Some will see only rain or just a dry cold weather pattern.

Temps will rise in the East as well during Christmas day.

Some rain is expected as well.

I see temps for the Northeast to be normal for the month of January.

In other words riding around 34-36 during the day.

The freak storm that hit us this year in December put us above the average snow fall.

Our average snow for January can well end up below or stay the same.

This area I will stay far away from since the pattern is up and down.

All in all.......it will be interesting anyway.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

From the Lehigh Valley Forecaster.

My Christmas day forecast: Lows in the upper 30's, highs in the low 60's. Not my ideal christmas weather but it could be worse.

The weather here in N VA is terrible..............

Mostly clear and a high of 59 degrees. Terrible, terrible. There are much better places I'd like to be right now, like in the mountains of New Hampshire. It sure ain't no 59 degrees there!! They got 5 feet of snow!!!!

My Christmas forecast: Temps in the 30s with snow :D NWS BUF has already issued a special weather statement, saying snowfall could be "significant" on Christmas...

Of course I would!! I'm keeping a watch on the models and hoping, but so far for us, even then I see at best a touch and go situation in that time frame. Hopefully things will firm up in our favor in the next 8-10 days.

And I have my SNOW NAZI HAMMER ready!!! :x :x :x

Terrible weather here in northern Virginia at the present time.............

Clear and still a ridiculously warm 52 degrees at 10:32PM.

Man I hate this crappy weather. Tomorrow it will be worse.....60 degrees with a low of 50. It's a crying shame! :( :( :( :(

If it were just a little colder here, we would have a white christmas, but now, we have rain, and it's like 40º-50º
