One thing I'd love to do is to get about 50 eighteen wheelers of prime Buffalo Lake-Effect Snow over here to Dale City/Woodbridge, along with snow rollers and tampers and shovels. I'd like to ship all that beautiful snow into my neighborhood and pack it all down as I spread it 36 inches deep all over my property and over anyone else's yard that would like a genuine winter look to their property. The snow would be tamped down but good, then 6 inches of loose snow would be spread over the packed snow, to a depth of 36 inches. Snow piles would be developed along the street near our cars and on the northern sides of our property so it would last the longest.
Then, I'd get out my lawn chair, umbrella and a cool drink and some really dark sunglasses and play that song, "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow".
I'd have my 36 inches of snow at last.

OR..............if we got two back-to-back 18 inch storms, OR if we got three 12 inch big doggs in a row.
THEN, it has been one heck of a wet year. One cold CAD scenario with 2.5 to 3.0 precipitable water qpf set-up, and we may yet get our 36-inch Big Dogg! No dogg catcher needed!!! lol!

Yup, 2 Big Dogs on Jan 22 and Jan 26, dumped 14 inches and 10 inches respectively on Woodbridge in Jan 1987. Oh I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy!!!!
