Wow, I was the last one in here? Sheesh!!

I just wanted to say hi real quick, warm up for a while!!

I've been waiting to see the New Year's schedule for some time now, and this morning I finally chased my boss down and said "Look, all I want to know is if I am ringing in the new year at Wally World!!" So we went back to the office, and lo and behold, I have the 30th, 31st, and the 1st off!!! I cannot BELIEVE it!! :D Especially since I have Christmas Eve and Christmas night off as well, first time in my 7 years of working I have had all those days off!! And enjoy them I shall!!

Ok, me need sleep! TTYL!!

Hey Jacki-Lynne...great to see you get those holidays off. There really is something to that Midwest work ethic! People down here in the SW talk about it as though it is something that other parts of the country don't share. I beg to differ. I have found people from all parts of the country who have good work ethic...complain less, expect to work the long days, long hours, and holidays...as needed. All they want in return is respect and a reasonable wage.

Nice 70+ day here in Phoenix. Still, it feels like Christmas. Have SO much food around here today that none of us will need to eat for a WEEK!

Only a couple more days before all the "hoop-la" begins to wind down. I like the festive atmosphere...but also like the quieter time in January.

Well grades have been posted (which is quicker than normal!) I finished exams on Wednesday...grades are already up. 2B's, 1BC, and 2C's.... I'll take it! I worked my butt off this semester!

Steph, graduation is scheduled for May 2005... that does include the realignment of my semesters due to the BMT training in the Spring.

Mary, Be thankful that Kris emailed you around this time, some soldiers don't get that chance. Return your love and support to him! Believe me, he'll appreciate it. :ggreen:

BMT's are less than a month away. As of right now, the fact isnt' bothering me, but it soon will, once that day approaches.

Happy Holidays everyone :D

Good job on the grades Pojo! I know that it's not that the work is that hard, just that there's so much to do. What is your major anyway?

Well I just wanted to let everyone know that my vacation has started and I am off until January 5th! :Partytime:

Tomorrow I cash my xmas bonus check and we go christmas shopping!

I hope to spend a little more time here and attend to my duties better.

Congratulations Shannon and John on the grades posted. Keep up the good work.

Jacki - I didn't match any numbers either. One of these days I may win a dollar or two. Then I'll split it with ya.

Happy/Merry Christmas Eve 8-) Can you BELIEVE it's Christmas EVE??? I was thinking this morning (very rare at 0400) that I needed to wrap 2 more presents for the neighbors, thought, "Ah, I'll do it tomorrow, I've still got time!" YEAH RIGHT  Steve, I agree, I "LOVE" the holiday season but in the same breath, it's NICE when it's over!

WELL, it's "Toe MALE" day! Cooked the meat last night and let it marinade overnight, I just put the corn husks in to soak, now to finish the masa then "Let the GAMES begin!" Decided against the pork and cheese this year, went with EXTRA hot Red Chili Beef!

Not a whole heck of lot going on, I haven't been by the PBS is so long, I'm ashamed of myself. That's it for now, I doubt I'll be around tonight, so, with that said, "I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night/day!"

Brrrrrrrr a chilly 5* and seems to be falling here in the great white north. I think I'll put another log on the fire. Merry Christmas Eve to all here at the PBS and elsewhere on S2K. Here's hoping your Christmas is full of joy and family. Thinking of all the soldiers overseas or anywhere away from their families. I know what it is like. I spent 5 Christmases away from family in the service.

Snowman, you are making my mouth water talking about them Tamales. I am going to take your recipe (thanks again) and try it out sometime soon. I can't wait. I have to wait until we have a get together though. My wife and kids probably will not eat them.

Again....

Merry Christmas to all

I'm posting this early since my time will most likely be limited on the comp through Saturday.

Above everything else I want to wish the TRULY AWESOME PBS CREW AND ALL OF MY WONDERFUL STORM2K FRIENDS:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I have been so blessed to come to know each of you as I do. It is truly something I cherish in my life and I thank each of you for being who you are. You each in one way or another epitomize what STORM2K and for that matter, living right, is all about!

May those blessings continue for everyone!!

Way to go on the grades Pojo and John!!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

To those of you that have loved ones who are serving in the military and can't be with you/us this year, please send them my heartfelt thank you for their sacrifices that allow each of us the FREEDOM that we cherish so dearly!!!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Shannon & John - great job with your grades!

I'm doing my wrapping now. Marty is at a Christmas party at one of his client's. His Mom is coming by tonight for dinner.

It's been raining cats & dogs all day. We have an Urban & Small stream flood watch up. If only it was snow...

I'm off today from work until next Monday! Woo Hoo!!

Dennis - you're getting me hungry!

I hope everyone has everything done that they needed to do and if you're traveling, please be safe and enjoy your visits!

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!

I am still up burning the midnight oil, as I'm sure most of you parents are doing, or have done tonight!! (We think we saw Santa's tracks in the sky near Alexandria, LA tonight).

We're home from our triip to Florida, wedding went off without a hitch...will fill in on the details at a later time. Jst wanted to let everyone know we are home safely, and wishing your families a very Merry Christmas, may you truly be blessed with God's wonder this holiday....

***************************************

PS Anyone wanna have us over for Christmas dinner? We put the turkey in the fridge a week ago, before our trip, and came home to a still frozen bird....doing the soak in water in the sink as we speak right now....but alas, even if it thaws, all the stores are closed, and I wasn't home to buy the trimmings! lol...Our magica 1st Christmas in our new house....lol

Also, Mickey and Minnie both said to say "HI and See ya real soon!" to all of you! * wink

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Brian saved the day....he managed to quick thaw the bird, and scraped up enough fixins from the cabinets for a wonderful Christmas feast! He even cooked the entire meal himself and is now resting peacefully on the sofa, as I'm sure many a daddy and grandpa are doing also! lol (Can u picture the snowman on his couch letting the z's rip??!!) lol

God Bless you all!
