My new Toy!

#1 Postby Colin » Fri Dec 26, 2003 9:44 pm

What was your favorite "toy" this Christmas?

Mine is my new Sprint PCS Cellphone. It has ALL the features you can ever imagine. Here are a few of my favorites:

1) Internet
2) Built in Camera
3) Different Ringers and Images (that you take) for different people in your phone book
4) Uploading Pictures and Sending pictures to other Sprint phones and e-mail addresses
5) Getting different games from the Internet

And many, many others.

If you ever get a cellphone, I highly recommend a Sprint PCS phone. :)

Glad that you like it Colin. Sprint PCS is the worst carrier in our area though. They don't have very good coverage here. Only along the main roads and highways.

But where you are at, it is probably great.

I got a new used almost obsolete computer that I bought for myself. It's our 2nd machine so we benefit a lot.

I got most of my cool toys before I got married and had children. Now? Forget it!

My new "toy", which will have to wait until our IRS refund, will be a "Dakkar" double-edged dagger, 12 1/4" overall with a 7 1/2" blade and Cordura nylon ballistic sheath.

VERY inexpensive as knives go, but it's all "function"...no frills, just "in your face" defense.

There are "toys"...and there's the real thing.

GOOD weapon, BEER! Unless I miss my guess, that's chambered for .223 NATO, is it not?

One improvement, though...you could use a Choate synthetic stock, which will reduce the weight by 2 1/2 lbs, yet it will be 70% stronger AND you can add spacers for your own shooting comfort level. I had one for my MAK-90...the improvement was unbelieveable!

I think Beer is going to take on the terrorists all by himself. Are you related to Burt Gummer on Tremors? j/k
