Christmas Tree....

#1 Postby Guest » Sun Dec 28, 2003 11:48 am

How long does everyone keep up their Christmas Tree? Mine looks so empty with no gifts under it. I'm thinking of taking it down today and leaving all my other decorations up until the 2nd week of January.

I want to put my threadmill back up and start walking again. I am feeling sluggish lately - miss my daily exercising...

Just curious what other Storm2k members do???

Just asked Debi...our tree will most likely stay up until the weekend of the 10th (she and coppertop are going to STL to visit my stepdaughter and her family in their new house over New Year's weekend).

Mine will probably be up until next weekend. The house looks so empty after everything comes down.

Leaving mine up until January 2nd. Always heard it was bad luck to take it down before the New Year.

Ours will probably stay up until next weekend. Then it will get chopped up and I'll burn it in the barrel.

Here in Puerto Rico we celebrate three kings day on the 6th when the kids recieve the majority of the toys and the day after the 7th our artificial tree goes to the box.

We didn't even have a tree up this year due to things not being done to make room to put the tree up. grandson didn't miss it though.

I will be taking my tree down next weekend. The needles are falling pretty bad right about now. Might take it down New Years Day, morning.

Well, depending on how busy we are - my wife and I will either take our tree down on January 4 or January 11. We once left it up until February 1 because we were so busy every weekend in January. But now we usually take it down the 1st or 2nd weekend in January.

Sometime in January...whenever I feel like it. It's always kinda sad to me when I take it down. When I was a kid, I used to cry when I'd come home from school and it had been taken down, lol. *sniff sniff*

We're tearing ours down Jan. 2nd, unless my kids and/or cats beat us to it.
