Biggest Improvement to Storm2K Of The Year!

#1 Postby Guest » Tue Dec 30, 2003 5:34 pm

Ok i see we have a thread of the year. So how about a thread devoted more towards the site itself as to what you think was the biggest improvement to Storm2K.

Such as, Gallery, Chatmap, Weather Central or something in weather central such as our model Page, Local info, or our Hurricane info related stuff?? Or even the changing of the forums which have had a couple of times this past year! So go ahead and say what you think was the best addition to Storm2K!

Of course me beeing a forecaster for the site i have to go with Weather Central. :D With the Gallery in a close second followed by the Chat Map!

Of course weathercentral for me as a forecaster is #1. :)The gallery is my second.

I'd have to say one of the best additions was actually a subtraction -- when almost all of the active members switched formats, removed avatars, and stopped posting pics during one of the busiest times in the season in an effort to reduce our bandwidth consumption. Everyone pulled together as a team to keep Storm2K up and running. :)

I agree with GD here...

I don't use the weather center much, it takes alot of time to load on my AOL Dial-UP. And since i'm in Kansas, I don't use the tropics center much either. I like the gallery, and the chat map (even though it loads slow, too.)

I love the Tropics section the way that is but together is efficient. (That is my opinion even though i have not been here as long as others)

I agree with Chad.. Quick weather is just FANTASTIC!!!!!!! There are so many wonderful things about s2k its hard for me to begin thinking about the best addition... mind you, its just hard for me to think.

I propose that Amanzi, aka "Bronwyn, Bodkin Devilfish, Amazing" should be hailed as the best Storm2K "improvement". :D
