We started the New Year off w/o heat again. Yes furnace is out again. And we had it fixed 2 days ago! Setting up another service appt. but this time, hubby will be off work tomorrow. I don't even want to be anywhere near our basement when the guy comes, after we paid $151 and it didn't take care of the problem. Jim's hopping mad. Me too! I want this fixed before winter really sets in here. It's coming, I heard. From here and local mets.

Brrrrrr.

Luckily our power didn't flicker this time, but there sure were lots of loud fireworks going off around midnight :o . Glad you got your power back Garrett.

Mary, no heat in Ohio in January cannot be a good thing :o . Hope you get your heater fixed ASAP.

Hope they fix your furnace correctly today Mary.
It's good that didn't break on Monday when the temps
start getting colder. Our electric was out for an hour
yesterday morning, I guess somebody hit a power pole
on New Years and they had to fix it.

Happy New Year everyone,

Steve

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:

HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.

Stormchazer! Yes I do! Hubby put the call in this a.m. to the heat/air conditioning company. He fought not to pay a service call again, had to talk to the manager to get that understood. Problem was never fixed in the first place. Furnace runs for a day and then it goes out. Winter wx is returning this Sunday - I want this fixed.

Garrett - when you said without electricity, I thought you meant without a picture of lightning - such as the one Chad posted. Glad you got your electricity back. Oh, and Happy New Year to you! 8-)
