NEW REGIONAL MAPS AND MORE!!!!

#1 Postby VanceWxMan » Sun Jan 04, 2004 5:48 pm

Hey all I am not trying to spam my site, but feel that you may want to know this and since I am an affiliate of this site invite you all to check it out.

Ok WxChat.com has had a HUGE FACELIFT! I have totally redesigned the site with a new skin new portal setup (more directed towards weather news) and added a TON of new things that you all are welcome to come and use if you would like.

Maps below may have to be generated so give it a few if it is a bit slow...REMEMBER these maps are REAL TIME!

WxChat.com now offers professional regional weather maps that can give you.
    Temps
    Current Conds
    Dew Points
    Wind Chill
    Heat Index
    Wind Speeds

We also offer National WX maps that gan give
    Temps
    Dew Pts
    heat Index
    Wind Chills
    Wind Speeds

Here is an example of a East Central regional map that shows current conditions

Here is the National Map that shows Current Wind Chills.

We have also added the ability for you to see PAST and PRESENT Tropical tracks of storms all the way back to 1998 with an IMAGE of the storms track. When there is a storm that is ACTIVE the program will TRACK the storm for you on a professional grade map.
Here is IZZY.

So come and check out our new look and additions! You can navigate them with the new menu on the left side of the page.

Also a HUGE thanks goes out to Todd my Tech Admin for the new Maps!

Feel free to post your comments.

I have to agree, the quality of these maps blew me away when I first saw them a little while ago. You all should go check them out! They do take a few moments to load initially; and they refresh every 15-20 minutes; but trust me it's worth it! :D Much more stuff is in store for WxChat this year so come on over today! You don't know what you're missing! :)
