As you can tell by my handle, I'm an LOTR fan. But unlike some people (i.e. Tolkien purists), I didn't get all upset when PJ changed things in the movie and for that reason, I really enjoyed the films. I've seen the extended editions of the first two and they make a good thing even better (Two Towers is especially improved). I can't wait for Return of the King to come out in extended. But I guess I will ahve to wait a few months for that.

Kathy and I went to LOTR at the biggest screen in Phoenix on Saturday. I sure have to say that of the three, this was the most remarkably staged.
We contributed our $20 toward that weekend record...and didn't feel slighted for doing so.
I wonder what Star Wars would have been like if they would have been produced after 2000?
