The nearly nightly soda I drink, usually root beer, sometimes Mountain Dew (Mountain Lightning), Orange and a couple others doesn't make a difference for me... remaining between 100 and 105 pounds.

As I believe I mentioned before I can't eat too much, which also means I eat slowly; which in turn means I need to eat whenever I feel hungry.

I went out and bought the book on the South Beach Diet. I am reading through it now, as soon as I read some, I will probably start on the diet. Goal=10% of my body weight which is about 22#

I am trying to get back to the weight I was at on July 23rd 2003.

That was the day me and my now infamous ex fiancee split up. I weighed 132 that day.. dropped all the way to 122, skyrocketed back up to 135 then dropped again to 123 after finally confronting my now depression battle.

At last check I was at 126 and my weight has stopped doing dangerous ups and downs..

But I really would like to get back up to 132. That would be my ultimate compliment to my ex of "I am not bothered by what you did anymore"

Sorry about that Lake Effect. I've certainly heard of malt being a non-alcoholic drink, but have heard that some malt drinks do.

I wouldn't want to have a malt drink every night. I eat and drink things that most people would gain weight from.

Mine is around the same too. Not up nor down. I am getting my flat on my bike fixed so I can get back out and bikin again real soon.

stormy - glad to hear you're getting motivated. :) Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

I'm getting motivated. Having some medication problems and possible procedures down the road - so I want to be in tip-top shape. I am going to start the treadmill again tonight. Still drinking the water so - that's helped. No soda's since Oct 28th - woohoo!!!!
