I dont remember a map but I will look back and check.

His posts consisted mainly of bashing DT and trying to turn every other storm into the January 25th, 2000 storm

recapping BTCs record:

His first day here ---- antagonizes DT in his first post

his second day here --- Posts JBs column from the professional pay-site directly on the board....when knowing its not to be re-posted IN WHOLE OR PART anywhere else.

today --- posts this borderline un-readable map.

alright ive said what i wanted to ---you can delete the rest of my posts on it.

Nobody is deleting anything. Geez relax people.

I will though say that if people do post the way you suggest Tom then well i will have a problem with it myself and if i ever do the same i hope someone calls me on it as well.

Nobody didnt say he couldt post his thoughts here. But like myself if you bust or whatever expect to hear a little flack it comes with the territory.

Which btw im looking at a good bust tomorrow with my snowfall map thread. Like i said it happens.

I agree, (FLguy and KOW). I didn't mean what I said above. It was a rhetorical question on the whole issue. :)

I agree that this storm will wimp out for those of us living along the Potomac River in metro DC, and that I would be stunned if I got over an inch in my driveway in Arlington. Half of your six flurries would be more like it.

Looking at the maps, if they actually verified I don't see any major snows coming along the pike for our little dot on the map at least into late January. (Anything west/north of Dulles Airport may be a different matter.)

But if you have lived here for a while, you will remember that many of our historic dumps, or even just snows, have come in February (2003 being a classic year with not just the Valentine's Day storm). GW in 1979, Lincoln's in 1983, and so on.

You may be happier next month...

OK, here is a strictly unscientific snow prediction forecast for central NC:

On Friday morning, I have to drop of a very cranky Siamese cat at the vet office to have his teeth cleaned, which he badly needs. (This roughly equates to a 100% chance of frozen precip accumulation which will make morning driving very hazardous).

The cost of said procedure will be over $100. (This equates to a roughly 100% chance that there will be no accumulation of frozen precip on Friday morning and the roads will be drivable.)

End result: a 50/50 chance that central NC will see any snow accumulation which will cause a driving problem on Friday morning.

I think he was trying to say that your map shows no snow for southern New England from this storm, which is correct. It also shows no snow for my area (near Philadelphia, PA), which is also correct.
