Maybe funny for you Jeremy, but right now, I have about 10 people that want me dead.

I only counted 4 who responded, not 10. But it wasn't that they desired you dead. It was only that they trusted the forecast.

Now if it was snow or your life, HD, look out! You KNOW how bad we want snow.

Btw, KFDM here in Beaumont mentioned sleet as a possibility early Thursday morning for us as well.

And to top it off he won't be dead(no I would not want him that way, just with his fingers frozen together from snow so he can't type!!) because any ice is going to be well North of Metro Houston tonight. Temps won't go below 40 in the Metro area tonight. Possible light ice pellets or sleet in the areas above a Huntsville to Lufking line is probably the best we will do. Otherwise we will get our usual cold rain which I hate. It is too damn cold for rain and too damn warm for snow IMO. That is typical winter weather in Houston.

vbhoutex...good post and you hit the nail on the head. That is exactly what happened. Nothing but a cold rain at my house in central Montgomery County.

It was in the mid-upper 50's when I woke up this morning at 6am, so I'm fairly confident that I didn't get any sleet. Looks like I am still alive, much to the dismay of southerngale and Lindaloo. You guys can't get rid of me that easily...
