What are your local forecasters saying? That is definitely more accurate that anything I could tell you. Although I would guess you would get less than an inch of snow with this storm, and would have to wait until at least late next week (1/14 to 1/16 time frame) for your next chance at accumulating snow.

snow potential
Maybe a dusting to an inch tops for central VA. Southeast Virginia may see 1-2 inches while the outer banks see 1-3" of snow with a winter weather advisory up for the outer banks. It appears fromthe VA/NC Border down through NC will do better as far as snow accumulation goes than say central Virginia. Only a few flurries are projected here in Baltimore. The low levels are way too dry. That's limiting our overall snow accumulation in through here to just a few flurries or a snow shower for DC and Baltimore.

Yup, thats about the size of it. You nailed Woodbridge.............pretty much what I said all along......dusting to an inch.........but I think we will see a few flurries and a coating. It'll be a pretty sight, and I'm thankful for the cool weather:)

Column slowly moistening but probably too late for more than 1.5" most locales in VA. with -SN on Friday totals over 2" will be tough to find in VA (except southside/ext SW VA
A few school delays from south of LYH. Depends on how fast -SN fills in over central VA... when doing so after 3AM is the best for closing schools.
snow/RAIN likely south of PA Tpk. later Mon into Tues.
FWIW, I haven't hugged the 1/15-16 storm and think there remains a chance it spins up. Maybe then.

At 5 am, in Arlington VA fierce flurries covered cars, sidewalks, the street with an estimated 1/4 inch (or less). Temperature 30 degrees at National.
It looks like it will clear out at this rate before noon.
School closings were announced for Culpepper and Page, and delays for Fauquier (they must have believed in flimsy flurries and not treated the roads, but news reports claim 1/2 to 1 inch on the ground already).

Same thing around here. All secondary roads are covered as well as parking lots and overpasses. Enough driving on these roads should keep them from being extremely hazardous though. I bet we have around an inch or inch and a half right now?! Currently 30 degrees and heavy snow at the rdu airport
