I'm back from the doctor. The S2K prayer warriors have done it again! The toenail is fine, according to my doctor; because the new one is growing back underneath the old one (the loose one) and it is almost ready to fall off (that is why it is loose). As for my cough, I have some sickness that starts with a P and also the beginning stages of bronchitis. That's why the cough won't go away.

The psychiatrist appointment went pretty well. I told her all about my weather escapades over the years :D , plus an e-mail that I got which I didn't know how to respond to and my job situation. I'd like prayers on that as well.

Thanks everyone - U R Da Best! :D

Thanks for the prayers. The eye surgery went well though the jury is out on whether it will be effective in reducing the fluid in my eye. Thanks again for your thoughts.

Thoughts and prayers with you this Friday evening.... May those in pain grow pain free. May those with anger be calmed by sunshine. May those with dreams so big find little steps to get there. May those who are in between...in between just about anything; jobs, relationships, decisions...may each of you find a bit of light to lead your way.

Tomorrow is another day...to be better, to feel better, to do better.

God shines His light on Storm2k...I know it, and I see it.

May he shine on you this time, this day. You are surely special in His eyes.

Steve

It's not pneumonia, it's pharyngitis. I think bronchitis comes before pneumonia anyway. ;)

Got my prescriptions filled today, so we'll see how they work.

Also my uncle Kip needs some prayers. He had a major neck surgery on New Year's Eve (vertebrae problems) and he is having a hard time recovering. So if you could put him in your prayers too that would be great. :D

Thanks all for the prayers. My friend here at work will be home from the hospital on Wednesday. He is in for a long run of physical therapy. Please keep the prayers coming. Joshua, here's hoping you're feeling better. Prayers from the Burgh for your Uncle Kip.

Pharyngitis is the inflammation of the pharynx.

Joshua, I hope you get better soon. I have come down with a cold. I have been getting them in early to mid January since I moved to central Florida.

Karan that is great news that he is coming out of the hospital. His physical therapy should be a breeze.

Jara, glad to hear that all went well with the eye surgery. Keep us posted on the fluids and you will be in my prayers until you are healed completely.

Josh, I hope you feel better.

You guys do a great job. My friend at work is in great spirits and although will endure a long run of physical therapy will return to work within 3 months. The amazing thing is that his entire hand went thru these cutting rolls. We had no idea what the damage would be. After I came here asking for prayers, the damage was very minimal. I know some of you say you will pray just to say it and others really pray, but the outcome is that you're prayers and even your best intensions of prayers are answered. I include myself in this. Sometimes just typing the words that we will pray for someone makes us feel good ------ I think just typing those words is like praying that someone gets better!!!!!!! Anyway ------ it works.

Thanks to all of you

Josh - I hope you're feeling better.

Karan - I just read about your friend's hand - I'm glad that it wasn't any worse than it was! I will pray that he will be able to get back to work in 3 months!

Well guys, here I am, back again. Tonight was a trying night!! I got off at 6am, went out to my car, and was SHOCKED when I looked at my front tire- almost totally blownout- thank goodness I made it to work!! I had to wait til 7am to see about getting new tires (which took my dang car payment money), so I was in the break room....and then I heard all third shift cashiers being called to a meeting: Seems one of our coworkers who has been off sick the last 4 days passed away last night! I didn't know him very well, but he was very nice, and only 24 years old!! His mother found him after our manager called her to ask how he was- he hadn't been calling in and that was out of character!! I cannot imagine her heartbreak!! So if you could please say a prayer for his family to get through this sad time, and maybe a tiny prayer for my nerves I would really really appreciate it!! Thanks y'all- I really do love you all and think of you as family, and I had to tell you- sad how things like this remind you that you may not get the chance next time around!! :(
