im not a fan of using the 18z intermediate operational runs either for making forecasts or changing them...but since the GFS showed some run-to-run consistency...it peaked my interest even more. usually the GFS offers nothing but BS beyond day 5 so it was a very interesting day for the GFS to say the least. if anything the 18z operational run was more impressive than the 12z run though its the consistency and overall trend that counts right now...not the details.

im equally interested to see what tonights 0z run indicates.
