Speaking of numbers I heard on the news once that telephone companies/manufacturers wish they could flip the numbers, to match calculators. But if they did, it would confuse everyone! Think about it, sometimes you remember a number by the way you punch the numbers. At least I do. Until that news spot, I never really gave the way the numbers are presented on phones much thought. I just took it for granted. They are the exact opposite of calculators! Guess this all should have been better planned out?

Great point Mary. :D I have experienced this just the last several days. I got a new police scanner in mid December and the other early morning, laying on my bed in the dark room, (before falling asleep), I was pressing the incorrect buttons for channel and frequencies. For example, the "1" button instead of the "7" button and the "9" button instead of the "3" button. :eek:
