Hmmm

Well, I can live with that...just so long as ya'll bring that northern snow down here too. :)

I actually woke up to some white stuff early this morning....white frost that is.
Ice covered my car too...I think it's a sign of things to come...hehe

My shipments are getting closer I see. Maybe the next one I ship out will actually be in the form of flakes.....Snowflakes that is...lol

As one of the "flakes" Blizzard don't you dare try to ship me. The freight would be astronomical!!!!lol If we can get Raine over here we could do a snow dance!!!!

Arizwx, it's great to see ya. How are you and how are your sons??? Keep in touch more often. Come by the stove and get this friendly warmth!!

Ticka, I hope your day went well and that you are feeling better.

Stephanie, sounds like you had a really good football weekend. I kind got away from it cause the "Steelers Suck". I'll be on the side of the Eagles!!!!

Well Steve, by the time I got to eat blueberry muffin, I saw some green fuzzies on the last one. I gave it to Crouton to ward away any infection. Would you make some more?????

I'll stoke the fire and put on a kettle of hot cocoa. I'll brew some Earl Grey since Miss Mary hasn't been here for a while. Maybe that will draw here to the stove!!!!!

Have a great night everyone and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday.

Karan

Did I smell Earl Grey brewing? :-) Thanks Karan! Sure hits the spot. Been chilled all day long. I have said several times lately if it's going to be this cold (nothing like the east coast experienced this weekend), then it should just snow.

Have a good evening everyone!

Good Morning everyone. :D

I think I'll sit away from the fire since it's 64° this morning. Looks like we're in for days and days of rain starting tonight...might have to build me an ark by the looks of the forecast.

blizzard...you have to send the snow by refrigerated cargo...no more wet envelopes please.

Maybe that Arctic blast combined with precipitation will verify and reach us around the 25th or so.
I am having recurring snow dreams...am I pitiful or what? hehe

Well, I made regular and blueberry pancakes this morning. I'll leave a large stack on the table with your choice of syrups. Help yourself & enjoy.

Karan, it did help, thanks so much! (((hugs)))

I am feeling better now, back to normal! Of course that means work like crazy, but oh well! I'm used to that, no biggie!

LOL about recurring snow dreams Kelly! I get recurring tornado dreams- can't wait for spring! After being sick you just want it to be warm again!! Let's hope to goodness the flu has peaked, man!!

Well, off to do what it is that I do before I head to work, catch y'all later, be healthy and warm, ya hear? :D

Well, the play calling of the packer game sucked.... regardless.... it wasn't that great of a season. It seems that the passing of Favre's dad ignited a spark to get their butts in gear.... unfortunately, due to the circumstances, packer fans know that we can't pin the upswing on the passing of Irv Favre.

I can really tell that day is coming...... I had my hair chopped today.... about 3-4" taken off! Its short..... and extremely short! I shouldn't have to worry at Boot Camp about the length of my hair. (FYI...my hair needed to be chopped anyways.... it was becoming a pain!). I have to drive down to Milwaukee tomorrow (wednesday) to outprocess.... (all in the midst of a snowstorm!) once I have my orders, forsure the anxiety will start to arrive... but the most anxiety will be on the bus ride over to Lackland. I'll most definitely remember the words that fellow s2k'ers told me.... don't take the TI's personal! They hate everyone.

A snowstorm is on the way arriving sometime during the night... possibly around 0330 CST.... maybe it will bring more that 2" of snow! That's all we have had in the past hyped up snowstorms.

Gator....welcome back! :D :D Yup, you caught me just in time.

Jacki...glad you fought against the flu bug.... busy ladies cant' be bogged down with that nasty strain!

No dear...your very first "nightmare" at Lackland AFB will be your initial, official AF "meal"...whether day or night, it will be a gloppy, grey mess over toast called "$#!+ on a shingle".

Everything past THAT will be "creampuff"! MTIs? They're pussycats!

Good luck Shannon! :) One week and counting. I wish you the very best.

Been a while since I checked in here. I need some warmth. It's a cool night here, but our days have been mild.

All is well here. The last traces of my cold / bronchitis / pharyngitis are exiting my system as we speak :D ! Thanks for all your prayers on that. Money is looking a bit better (for now) because so far I owe $0.00 for my bills.

How's that you ask? My SSI paid them all this month since it went back up. WooHoo! :D

On Friday, I went to lunch at Chili's (a local burger / bar place). The server girl was super hot and attractive. The hostess lady was hot and attractive. The other server girls were hot and attractive. :o (Maybe my hormones were high that day, I dunno...  ) but anyway I had just enough for my bill and no $$$ for a tip. I felt bad not only because she did a good job but also because my server was extremely cute. :P So I rode my bike back here (home), grabbed a $20, and went back to Chili's to tip her. I couldn't not tip her. She did a great job. And she's too cute not to give a few bucks to. How many customers do you know of (including yourselves) who would go home, get cash or something, and go back and then tip their host(ess)? I can't think of many myself. She deserved it IMO.

OK I'll stop rambling. Hope you all have a great day, and Happy Birthday Eric!!! :D :D :D

Wow Josh!! That was nice!! I never had anyone like that when I was a server!!

Shannon.... wow, it's getting close!! Don't worry girl, I've always admired you for all the things you take on at once....boot camp will be a piece of cake for a girl like you!! :D

Ok.....I'm warm, and my bed is calling, later potaters!! :D

Good Morning!

MAN....it's been like FOREVER since I've sat by the PBS, been busy PLUS, it's SUMMER, WELL, spring anyways "LOL!"

Pojo, don't be surprized IF they cut your hair even SHORTER, I did that, I got a buzz cut thinking "HA!" BUT....they took one look at me and said, "What is that? A MARINE haircut?" They cut it even SHORTER!!! Bill.....I "LOVE" S.O.S! The ONLY thing I didn't like about bootcamp food, the POWDERED EGGS.....nice and runny! Ummmm, ummmm.....hey Shannon, ya hunger yet?

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRRRRTHDAY DEAR ERIC!" Indeed, a VERY happy BDAY Brother...hope the Good Lord Truly blesses you today and everyday!

Josh.....don't think I've ever gone home to get the money to tip someone but I've NEVER, EVER stiffed a waitress, waiter, no matter HOW bad/good the service was. If it's bad, I'll leave them a quarter, if it's good, I TRY to tip at LEAST 20%.

Not much else going on, can you believe we've been doing YARD WORK?? We raked ALL the leafs up from the fall, thatched the lawn, racked all the doggie doo up (with 3 big dogs, well, you get the picture, can you say backhoe, dumptruck "LOL!")

O'TAY.....that's it for now, howdy to everyone I missed and once again, "Happy Birthday Eric".....many happy returns!

You ask....you receive..... Its been snowing for 2 days (Pretty much).... but we only have about 3-4" of snow on the ground... the grass is FINALLY covered! Both days, had to drive in the snow. Wednesday (14 Jan) was down to General Mitchell APS to outprocess (from Menasha to Milwaukee) and then up to Sheboygan to pick up one of my friends....and then back to Menasha. Today was driving around Appleton and then to Green Bay and back. Yup, that day is really coming.... I have my orders, and basically everything is packed.

Dennis....girls have the option of not cutting their hair....we can if we want to, but it is up to us.

Good Morning!

How's everyone? Me....just peachy!

What a WILD weather day that was! We had 3" of snow yesterday morning when I got up, in less than hour, it was gone cuz of the ALL the drizzle, mist we had. I've never seen a day like that up here before, HEAVY fog (visib. at times was down to LESS than 100 yds!), drizzle, mist and I mean ALL DAY LONG!!! We Az-onians aren't used to ALL that humidity....felt like I was back in the deep south!

ANYWAYS....pojo, my, times have changed, used to be, the woman of the Navy (WAVES) HAD to cut their hair! How many days now...3? Better sleep as much as you can!

ARIZWX!! Hey bud.....how's things? Glad to hear your lifes back on track and you've got someone in your life now!

Poor Jackie......don't ya HATE those 7 day stretches?? My son works in hardware at Wally World, he pulls 9 straight then 4 off, which actually, isn't bad (I wouldn't want to do that again "LOL!")

Well folks, got a TON O' honey do's to get done today, better scoot! Have a GREAT FRIDAY and I'll see y'all tamale!
