Update for the Deep South.... (next week)
Just a few points to ponder in the afternoon discussions. Any thoughts?
Way down in Brownsville, Texas
AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT COULD MOVE THROUGH THE
AREA BY THURSDAY NIGHT OF NEXT WEEK CAUSING MUCH COLDER
TEMPERATURES.
Austin/San Antonio, Texas
A DRY NORTHWEST FLOW WILL REMAIN OVER THE
STATE SUNDAY AND MONDAY, LONG ENOUGH TO SWEEP OUT THE WRAPAROUND
CLOUDINESS BEFORE ANOTHER WINTER STORM BRINGS THE LOW CLOUDS BACK TUESDAY.
Houston/Galveston, Texas
EARLY PART OF NEXT WEEK LOOKS BENIGN...BUT END OF THE WEEK COULD BE
QUITE ACTIVE IF DEEP WEST-CENTRAL US TROF VERIFIES.
Tulsa, Oklahoma
THIS ALSO POINTS TO POSSIBLE ARCTIC
INTRUSION INTO THE PLAINS BY DAY 7.
Mobile, Alabama
AFTER THAT THINGS SETTLE INTO A LULL UNTIL LATE IN THE
WEEK WHEN WE COULD SEE A COLD PLUNGE LOOMING ON THE HORIZON.

Let's all pray!
All us gulf coast" snow geese lovers" need to call a group prayer meeting
.It sure depends on a lot of things for this too happen. The GFS has been unreliable past 10 days so far this winter season. Though the GFS has been consistent the last couple days, I wouldn't be astonished if it removed the cold and precip again like it has been doing. I'm not covinced to get on the famous "Snow Train" yet.
Looks like that model run has changed but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that arctic front late next week. It's already feeling like spring outside and we have a ton of rain coming this weekend. Bring on the cold!
It feels like Spring to my grass too. It's starting to turn green. I'm not ready to start cutting grass again. :)
