typical va winter. what a change from 2 days ago. the arctic air never got here

Where are you in Virginia? I had 14 degrees this morning with -6 wind chill. I don't know if that is artic, but it is pretty close.

vab. it got cold here, but i dont consider a one day shot of cold air "arctic". this will be our coldest day, and it will be about 10 degrees below normal. cold, but compared to the past, no big deal.

accuweather tends to flip flop on their forcasts...at least for this area. One day they'll have us in ice and freezing rain...the next it'll be clear and 60 LOL. Wonder which model they follow?

56 degrees in January stinks. I prefer 6 degrees with wind chills of -10 or lower. 8-)

Figures Accu-Weather, The Weather Channel or any company would use one model more so than any other.

They all rely on that darned "GFS" Good For Sh!t model. If that's what they rely on, especially more than 72 hours out, then that's all they'll ever be good for----"Good For Sh!t". They need to throw that GFS out.

Forecasts are supposed to take into account all the models, one obviously is more accurate than another with every system.
