Watching ye old slop line

#1 Postby Lowpressure » Fri Jan 16, 2004 2:38 pm

To take a quote from Jeb- " Slop line" watching will be the hobby in the Mid Atlantic later this weekend. We were 12-14 degrees this morning going for 18 tonight and any snow we get (NWS says less than one inch)Saturday night will probably changeover early Sunday to sleet then to all rain Sunday. It is amazing how fast cold air can exit this area. I would like to see some CAD in place, but it appears it will not. NWS was so wrong with the mid week system in D.C. does anyone see any more than one inch of snow for the D.C. area?

Unfortunately, an inch or so sounds about right for the DC area.
